I'm a local historian who was also a citizen journalist following our city and county government for many years, and I know Escambia County has earned a reputation for backroom deals and "good old boy" politics — something I witnessed firsthand this year. I am running to bring clean, open government to the county commission and to make sure county government is serving all residents, not just the monied interests.
We will restore public trust by mandating radical transparency and upholding both the letter and spirit of Sunshine Laws.
We will modernize tourism infrastructure, attract clean, high-wage jobs, and oppose extractive developments that exploit our resources.
